Calcite π·πΊ
Dalnegorsk, Primorskiy Kray, Russian Federation
Cabinet, Item No: S22-0010
Fantastic example of highly UV reactive mangano calcite from Russia! The specimen consists of 2 massive crystals forming almost a X. This was the first time for me experimenting with UV photography and I think the results are quite nice. First 2 pics under daylight conditions only, third pic was done with long-wave UV light and forth pic with shortwave UV.
Crystal Group/Cluster, 10.8 Γ 8.8 Γ 8.3 cm
Largest Crystal: 10.30 cm
